The role
Sales setter · outbound + qualification.
Your job in one sentence: find businesses that obviously need one of our systems, get them interested enough to take a call, and hand them off to our closer. You never negotiate scope or send a proposal. We do that. You source and qualify.
What you'll do
- Source businesses bleeding leads, drowning in manual ops, or losing to AI-enabled competitors
- Reach out via your channel of choice — DMs, email, calls, networking
- Qualify: budget, timing, decision-maker
- Book the call into our calendar — Optovo closes
- Track every conversation in our CRM so we can pick up where you left off
What we need from you
- A real outbound discipline — you can run a list and stay consistent
- Written + spoken communication that doesn't read like spam
- Judgment on who's a real fit vs who's wasting our time
- The hunger to build a compounding book of clients
- Self-direction — we won't micromanage
What we don't want
- Spray-and-pray DMs from a list scraper
- Anyone who thinks "setter" means "robot reading a script"
- Anyone trying to sell our prospects on a $500 website
- Anyone who needs hand-holding to send a single email
